Here at LaneSystems we are so excited to have been nominated as finalists in the North East 2019 Charity Awards. Whilst specialising in IT Support we are extremely dedicated when it comes to our Corporate Social Responsibilities and would like to tell you a little more.
We are avid supporters of the local charity MAIN. Based in Middlesbrough this wonderful team provides help and support to children and young adults living with autism and mental health issues. Over the years we have provided computers for children to use when attending group sessions. The impact this equipment has is wonderful to learn about and its lovely to hear about the attention and confidence gained by service users.
Supporting Zoe's Place
Nobody wants to even imagine what it would be like to have to use the services of Zoe's Place. Providing palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants, this team are nothing less than amazing. Founded in 1995 Zoe's Place have hospices in Middlesbrough, Coventry and Liverpool. Great comfort is given to families of service users and the charity simply could not survive without outside help. At LaneSystems, we recently carried out the Smarties Challenge. All we had to do was eat a full tube of smarties each, replacing these with 20 pence pieces. We continue to support this charity, getting involved where we can.
Supporting Citizens Advice Bureau
Over the last 25 years our company has supported Citizens Advice Bureaus in Stockton, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead and Newcastle. We have sourced, cleaned and prepared computer equipment for each one and found the respective licences. We've also donated our time to deliver and set up machines correctly. Today we continue to maintain fantastic relationships with the CAB offices whilst offering continued support.
Supporting Young Footballers
Helping local sports teams is also something we love getting involved with. Having recently sponsored football kits for the Seaton Panthers under 13s, we are pleased to announce this great team are at the top of their league!
It's through the work we have done and continue enjoying with these charities and local groups that we have been privileged to make it to the finals of the North East Charity Awards. We will keep you posted on our progress.
How Could you Help?
Are you looking to upgrade the PCs in your office? Do you have any older machines just laying around gathering dust? Do you have PCs ready to be sent to landfill? If so, we could help you to help someone else. Does your monitor measure 19 inches or more? Is the computer or laptop equipped with i3 4 Gig Memory, 4th Generation and 250 Gig Hard-drive? If so, we'll clean, prepare, help purchase charity licences, install operating systems and donate our time to prep and deliver. Please dont worry if you have absolutely no idea on how to figure out machine specification. We will help you with this too! Simply email email@example.com.
