Tees Valley Combined Authority is developing a new approach to business support across Tees Valley, and we want to make sure it works for everyone.

We’d like to invite business leaders and founders with lived experience of disability, neurodivergence and long-term conditions to take part in a workshop where we’ll share our proposed approach. Your insight is vital in helping us understand what will work, what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

The two-hour workshop will be a chance to:

Learn about our proposed new business support system
Share your experiences and perspectives
Help identify barriers that businesses and entrepreneurs may face
Contribute ideas to make services more accessible and inclusive
Our goal is to create a support system that is simple to access, practical, and effective for all businesses. Your input will play a key role in making sure we get this right.

The workshop will be led by Sara Murray, Training and Research Manager at Beyond Bendrigg, a charity which helps organisations become more inclusive and accessible.

We hope you can join us and be part of shaping a better, more inclusive future for business support in Tees Valley.

If you are travelling by car, please use the main terminal car park. You will be given a code to use upon exit so that parking charges do not apply.

Upon arrival to the Airport, please report to the information desk in the main terminal building.



Accessibility details:

The meeting room has level entry with door widths of 90cm.
Accessible toilet facilities available on the same level as the meeting room.
There is a hearing loop available – please let us know if required.
Please note, there is no natural light in the room.
