Darlington Business Week 2020 is the 4th year of events aimed at supporting local businesses.

This year sees huge changes to the timetable of events due to the Government guidance put in place to keep people safe, and our awareness that people will be busy trying to rebuild their businesses during these unprecedented times.

Darlington Borough Council’s Business Investment Team have brought together a wide range of local companies, key partners and business support organisations to deliver a timetable of events, all hosted online. These events will take you on a journey to build resilience for the future, focus on your business and look at ways you can diversify, utilise new opportunities and engage with customers old and new.

The Darlington Economy event launches the week with an update from Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen and from DBC's Mark Ladyman on how Darlington is performing and our plans for the future.

Other events include utilising digital in your business, how overseas trade can bring new opportunities for your business, developing your staff to work in our new world, marketing, support with tendering for public sector contracts, advice for retail businesses and for those with an idea for a new business that want to take the next step to help bring the idea to fruition.
