For our first visit to Redcar & Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart, an exciting and vibrant new facility,TVBC would like to offer a flavour of business in the Redcar area.
At this event we hope to offer something for all tastes from an overview of MGT Power with a dash of BEIS, a smattering of local small businesses and an introduction from The Chamber.
There are limited places for this event so early booking is recommended. Running order for the evening is as follows:
6.00pm Registration with Tea/Coffee, light supper and open networking
6.30pm Welcome and introduction from TVBC and The Chamber
6.35pm Presentation by Ben Elsworth of MGT Power regarding Tees Renewable Energy Plant
6.55pm "BEIS - who are we?" - Sue Houston, Business Relationship Manager, Department for Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) – Gov UK, followed by Graham Robb of Recognition PR regarding the South Tees Development Corporation (STDC)
7:15pm Profile on local foodies: Sarah Muir – Archers Cookery School and Lorna Jackson – The Farmers Market (Saltburn and Stockton)/Saltburn Food Festival and Real Meals
7.40pm Networking with samples from local producers:
9.00pm Event close
Parking:
Parking is available in a car park under the Heart building, which can be accessed from Kirkleatham Street. Further parking is also available along Kirkleatham Street.
Attendance to this event is without charge for members and eligible guests*. Please bring plenty of business cards.
*Guests are welcome to attend one meeting before making a commitment to join the club.
