Active Chartered Financial Planners - Tees Valley Business Club Ltd

Tees Valley Business Club invites you to an extra special addition to our 2025 events calendar, an evening at the historical Raby Castle.

Lord Barnard and the Raby Estates team led by Duncan Peake have redefined the meaning of ‘castle’ to breathe new life into historic buildings and make Raby Castle and its grounds a place of welcome fit for the 21st Century.  The pair will be ‘in conversation’ with Caroline Theobald CBE on Thursday 5th June in the recently renovated Riding School at Raby Castle.

The conversation will cover Raby´s history of two families, the Nevilles and the Vanes´; the investment decision and process to transform Raby’s future; a description of what’s already been achieved (and what might come next), the importance of partnership working and a clearer understanding of why this prominent northern family wants to share their inheritance with the community – and the rewards it´s bringing.

The event running order is:
6:00 pm- Members to arrive and head to Riding School/Dutch Barn for a welcome drink
6:30 pm- In Conversation with Lord Barnard and Duncan Peak, hosted by Caroline Theobald CBE
7:30 pm- Light supper and refreshments served with networking
9pm - Event Close

Guest booking: We enable six guests to attend each of our events.
