The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite food & drink producers from across the Northern Powerhouse to part two of the virtual mission to India.

India’s food and drink market is huge, seeing a sustained period of strong growth, fuelled in part by a growing youth demographic and a more affluent middle class, increasingly more concerned about eating more healthily. There are opportunities for health & nutritional products, gourmet foods & drinks, high value packaged & processed products in dairy or confectionaries and alcoholic beverages.

The mission is designed to connect businesses from the North of England with Indian buyers and key representatives from the Indian Food and Drink sector.

Costs:
Registration fee of £100 (non-Vatable).

Eligibility:
Companies must:

-Be a food and drink producer
-Be based in the Northern Powerhouse region
-Have a minimum turnover of £250K or established exporter
