The new government has proposed many changes to employment law which will have a direct impact on employers.In the King’s Speech, it was confirmed that the “Government is committed to making work pay and will legislate to introduce a new deal for working people to ban exploitative practices and enhance employment rights”. Legislation is expected to be put before Parliament within the first 100 days of the Labour Party’s entry into government.
