Yarm School Career Convention
Date: Thursday, 27th April 2023
On the evening of 27th April 2023 Yarm School will be hosting our Career Convention. Typically biennial, this will be our first Convention since before the pandemic. Open and advertised to pupils and parents from schools across the region, it is an opportunity for pupils aged 14 to 18 to explore opportunities in education, training and employment. There will be a larger number of universities and colleges in attendance, as well as a diverse range of professions represented.
We would like to extend an invitation to local employers to declare an interest in participating in the Convention. We have limitations on space and need to ensure a patterning of representation across a wide spectrum of fields, but we would be delighted to hear from you to share further details of the event, and/or secure your engagement in career-based initiatives in the future. We do feel it is important to have strong local representation at the event and it is hoped that some members of the Tees Valley Business Club might see some mutually beneficial opportunities in this event.
