Congratulations to George Williams, agent in Sanderson Weatherall's Teesside office, who became a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). George passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), on his first attempt last week, to become an elected member of RICS.
The APC process involves practical training and experience which, when combined with academic qualifications, leads to RICS membership. It consists of a period of structured training, culminating with a written submission and a final assessment interview.
George works in Sanderson Weatherall's North East agency team, who were recently announced as the most active commercial property agency in the region by Estates Gazette, in what is widely recognised as one of the top accolades for real estate agents.
George said, "The advice from the team in Teesside and the rest of the North East agency team has helped in ensuring I passed the APC and I am really excited to finally be a fully qualified member of the RICS.
"It was brilliant to be part of the team that won the prestigious Estates Gazette award and now I am looking forward to further developing our agency presence in the Teesside area."
Head of agency, Robert Patterson commented, "We have always been proud of our track record in providing graduates from across our offices with first class training. I am delighted for George, as he successfully qualifies as a chartered surveyor, even as a graduate surveyor he was an integral part of our team and we look forward to his continued development at Sanderson Weatherall."
