“As growth returns – will your profitability be undermined by rapidly increasing staff costs?”
As the economy recovers it is expected that many businesses will face real pressure to increase salaries from staff, including some staff who may not have had a payrise for some time. This pressure will come on top of regulatory changes such as Workplace Pensions Auto Enrolment which will also increase staffing costs.
How will you respond in a manner which both satisfies staff but also manages cost?
Our employment taxes and employment benefits specialists from our Tax and Wealth Management teams will join forces with Jacksons Law to set out how companies can manage the cost of provision of incentive packages and what types of incentives are commonly offered. The workshop will also cover the following topics:
Employee benefit packages – what tax efficient benefits can you provide to your staff as incentives whilst managing costs?
Insurance for directors, key persons and your wider staff population – what is “best practice” and how can you manage costs of cover?
The £2,000 Employers NIC exemption for 2014/15 applies from April – how do you claim it?
Making administration of employee benefits easier – are you making your reporting more difficult than it needs to be?
Auto Enrolment – what might it cost your company, what are the additional payroll implications you will face and how can you manage the burden?
Legal considerations for providing contract based benefits and share scheme considerations.
