Celebration of Success

Tees Valley Business Club welcomed over 100 guests to its Celebration of Success event, which was hosted at Wynyard Hall, on Thursday (24^th November).

The evening offered a fantastic opportunity for Tees Valley Business Club members and guests to share all the good things that have happened within their businesses during this year.

Chris Simpson from The Department for International Trade (DIT), David Dixon from Tees Valley Business Compass and Keith Hanson from Fine Equinity joined Tees Valley Business Club Chair, Jane Reynolds for a light-hearted discussion 'On the Sofa'.

The group conversed about funding available from the Business Compass and the value of trade visits arranged by DIT, which Fine Equinity secured and attended to enable the company to extend its trade reach into new international markets.

Keith said: “The Tees Valley Business Club has provided a great environment for networking for the businesses and I really enjoyed the evening.

“Networking gives you the opportunities, ideas and contacts you need to grow a business and the Tees Valley Business Club is a brilliant place to start building your connections.”

20 of the Tees Valley Business Club members took the opportunity to share their successes from this year with the club. These firms also had the chance to promote their services and products on their stands, which members visited whilst enjoying festive drink and a piece of shortbread.

Chair of Tees Valley Business Club Jane Reynolds, said: “What a wonderful evening we have enjoyed especially as the hall had been dressed for Christmas and gave such a festive feeling to the evening. I would like to extend a special thank you to our speakers and to all who attended the event. 

“Our first event of 2017 will be at Crathorne Hall on 19^th January we look forward to welcoming you all there.”
