CEO’s sleep rough in Middlesbrough.

October 8th 2014

Our very own business club director, Emily Bentley will be joining business bosses from across the Tees Valley to make history in October by putting on the largest CEO Sleepout in the country.

With around 70 to 100 managing directors, chief executives, company directors and senior managers expected to take part in sleeping on the streets for one night.

CEO Sleepout was created in December 2013 by Andy Preston of Green Lane Capital after two successful CEO Sleepout events were held at Middlesbrough FC and Newcastle Utd FC in collaboration with Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.

The charity event aims to tackle homelessness and poverty across Teesside by asking the senior management of local businesses to spend just one night living like a homeless person has to every night.

This year, the event is being headed up by fellow business club member, NECC’s International Trade Senior Account Manager, Matthew Ord and ever supportive NECC Global member and former Chairman of the business club Keith Miller, owner of Ecco Finishing Supplies in Middlesbrough.

If you would like to sponsor Emily to take part, donations can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/EmilyBentleyCEOSleepout/

If you would like to join the CEO Sleepout, please contact Matthew Ord on 07717300351 or email him matthew.ord@necc.co.uk
