Communications consultancy marks growth

A communications firm, which boasts a client list of both regional and national companies, is setting its sights on further growth after taking on a new team member.

Resolution Communications was launched by PR and marketing specialist Sharon Starkey two years ago, after a career in the industry spanning more than 15 years.

After celebrating year-on-year growth in that time, the firm – which provides marketing and PR services to a range of businesses – has announced its appointment of account executive Rachel Sharpe and has also re-located its offices to the newly-refurbished Gloucester House, on Church Road in Stockton.

Sharon, managing director of Resolution Communications, said: “Over the last three years the business has gone from strength to strength.

“There has been a lot of hard work and plenty of challenges along the way, but the effort has paid dividends and I’m delighted to welcome Rachel to the team.

“Rachel comes with a wealth of experience in experiential marketing and has a clear understanding of the end customer’s expectations. This will add value for our clients and strengthen Resolution Communications.”

The 37-year-old mum-of-one added: “We are also delighted to have upscaled our offices to the fully serviced offices at Gloucester House.

“They are in a prime location within the Tees Valley, where we can take full advantage of the regeneration of Stockton.

“There is a definite buzz in the air as organisations recognise what this area has to offer, including the talented individuals generated by universities, colleges and local apprenticeship schemes.

“All of these factors mean business can remain in the area and recruit from the talent pool.”

Resolution Communications offers marketing and PR, while specialising in strategy, working alongside clients to ensure their messages are communicated consistently and in the best way possible for their business. The company is proud to still be working with every client it has had on its books since launch.
