Current Opportunity - Short Breaks Framework for Disabled Kids

Description: Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council wish to appoint a framework of providers for the provision of short breaks for disabled children, young people and their families within the community

Lot 1 – Groups

Group activities that are available to children, young people and their families.  Group provision that are aimed at children and young people that require additional support, or who may need groups and services that are designed to meet their needs

Lot 2 – Community Care & Support

A disabled child or young person is assessed as needing additional support in their home or community.

Lot 3 – Residential

A child or young person is cared for overnight by someone other than the parent or carer.

The framework will be open for new applications to be submitted throughout the Period of Contract.  The applications will be held in a ‘locked electronic box’ from the point of submission until the next opening date which will be a maximum of 3 months from date of submission.  For clarity the Council will review new applications every 3 months, the next closing date will be shown on the NEPO portal at the point of submission.
