English Senior Open at Rockliffe Hall

Rockliffe Hall is the home to the prestigious English Senior Open attracting some of the best golfers from the European Senior Tour, including eight former Ryder Cup stars and international players from over a dozen countries.

In 2013 a new course record was set, the sun shone, and the region’s golf fans arrived in droves to support the event which featured top European Tour players such as Mark James, Barry Lane, Miguel Angel Martin and Peter Fowler.

Visitor numbers reached an all time high on Sunday, with thousand’s of golf fans through the gates over the three days, enjoying the luxury of our five-star resort as they witnessed Denmark’s Steen Tinning claiming the title.

Following the success of last year’s event, this prestigious event has now been confirmed to take place at Rockliffe Hall from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2014.
