The State Government of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil has just announced a strategic plan to develop a Subsea Supply Chain in the region which responds to almost 80% of the Brazilian Oil and Gas production. Given that Brazil is one of the world oil and gas powers; there is a great opportunity for UK companies to be seen as partner of choice for this initiative.

UK Trade & Investment, in partnership with NOF Energy are leading a delegation to the North East England on 3rd February.  The delegation includes a representative of Petrobras, officials from the Rio de Janeiro State Government, representatives of trade associations and Small to Media Enterprises (SMEs) searching for partners in the UK.  The delegation are also visiting the Subsea Expo 2014 in Aberdeen.
