If We Can You Can Challenge 2019

The If We Can You Can Challenge is the North East's startup business competition!

Open to anyone, of any age in the North East with a business less than 3 years old. The Challenge uncovers great companies and works hard to include all regional business networks.There are currently four award categories; 1) Ideas Prize Award, 2) Ones to Watch Award, 3) Biggest Social Impact Award, 4) Highest Growth Potential Award. These 4 awards are presented over 3 events at unique pitching competitions.

We are proud that the Challenge uncovers great North East companies and work hard to include all regional business networks. We have a fantastic list of partners to work with in order to help us identify a clutch of hidden but scalable businesses in the region and showcase what support is available for them. In this 11th year we are planning an extensive programme of activities (in addition to the more traditional judging and dinner ceremony) to maximise the potential for entries across the region.

If We Can You Can is supported by all 5 regional Universities, enterprise agencies throughout the North East and passionate local businesses including Go North East, Deloitte, NEL Fund Managers, North East Times, O Communications, Gateshead Council, Entrepreneurs Forum and many more.
