UK – The Exporting for Growth Prize (Multi Sector)

Win over £4,000 worth of advice & support to help your company grow in Middlesbrough

UKTI can help your business expand and prosper overseas. Successful applicants will be invited to present their export idea to a panel of business experts. 12 entries will be shortlisted to go through to a final, week commencing 14 October 2013.

Terms of Entry: The competition is open to all small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Eligible applicants must have an active Middlesbrough trading address and fall into SME category according to the European Union definition.

The Prize: Free registration to UKTI's Passport to Export programme, which includes:

  • A 12 month programme of support

  • Companies will receive an in depth capability assessment, face to face support from export professionals, an assessment of the stages of export in relation to your own business and developed a focused action plan for your company

The Passport programme can also help with market selection, market research and support for visits to potential markets, including:

  • Up to 25 hours (worth over £1000) of support from UKTI overseas teams. Providing market and sector advice, identification of potential distributors/agents/partners/customers and help launch your company's product or service in the market.

  • Access up to £3000 of matched funding, that can be used for travel/ accommodation/marketing costs, to enter chosen markets

  • 1 day Passport Workshop to help develop your export plan

The application deadline is 4 October 2013.

Entries received after this date will not be included. The 12 finalists will present to a panel week commencing 14 October, with the three winners being chosen and advised week commencing 21 October.
