Anelec is an electrical, mechanical and renewable company, based in Stokesley but serving the whole of the North East and Yorkshire. Anelec also operate an industrial safety training arm of the business which services the whole of the UK.

 

The business was established in 2015 and has grown from a one-man entity to a successful business with electrical and mechanical engineers working on a variety of projects and disciplines. 

 

Their in-house team of qualified and specialist engineers carry out a full range of installations within commercial, industrial, rail, agricultural, and domestic installations.

 

Some of their clients include Middlesbrough Council, Stockton Council, Redcar and Cleveland Council and North Yorkshire Council as well as private businesses in the area.

 

They are recently completing a series of solar installations to Cleveland Police´s estate to reduce their carbon footprint. The combined size of over 400kw, will reduce their carbon footprint by at least 80,000kg per year.

 

Andrew Porritt, managing director, said: “We can assist with all aspects of mechanical, electrical, renewables, and fire alarm installations and maintenance. We have the capability to maintain high service levels whilst reacting to clients every day requirements.

 

“To complement our offering we are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 accredited, an NICEIC Approved Contractor, Gas Safe Registered, BAFE approved (for fire alarm systems), MCS (for renewables) Construction Line Gold, CHAS, RISQS (Railway Trackside Audited), SSIP (safety schemes in procurement), RECC and Trustmark accreditations.”

 

Anelec’s industrial safety training arm are a City and Guilds approved training provider, as well as being accredited by IOSH and Qualsafe. They have their own mobile training unit for confined space and working at height, which allows them to travel all over the area delivering training to various businesses. This state-of-the-art offering means businesses can have a more flexible approach to training their staff. 

 

Their specialist industrial safety training includes:

  • City & Guilds industrial safety courses such as confined spaces, breathing apparatus and working at height training. 
  • Qualsafe Accredited Training such as Fire Safety, First Aid, Manual Handling and Working at Height training courses
  • IOSH Accredited Working and Managing Safely training courses
