Ashburn Design is a freelance graphic design business ran by Kirsty Waistell, providing creative design support to businesses, schools and organisations across the UK. With more than 17 years´ experience in the industry, Kirsty specialises in branding, social media graphics and custom illustration, helping clients communicate clearly through professional, consistent and effective design.

Working with organisations of all sizes, she offers a flexible design service that can support everything from complete brand refreshes and marketing campaigns to one-off creative projects. Her approach combines creativity with attention to detail, ensuring each piece of work is tailored to the client´s needs whilst delivering a clear and professional message.

Kirsty joined Tees Valley Business Club to build stronger connections within the local business community and become part of a network that supports growth across the region. She said: “Working as a freelance designer, I´ve learned how valuable real relationships are, not just for collaboration, but for sharing ideas, learning from others and feeling part of a community. I´m looking forward to meeting local businesses, understanding what they need and supporting them with design that helps them communicate confidently.”

Before launching Ashburn Design, Kirsty enjoyed a successful career designing homeware for major high-street retailers including Next, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser. One of her proudest achievements was designing the official towel for The Championships, Wimbledon, an experience that helped shape the creative approach she brings to her work today.

As she settles into the Tees Valley Business Club community, Kirsty is looking forward to sharing more of her creative projects and building new relationships with businesses across the region.
