NE Support provides fractional business support to growing companies, helping founders who are experts in their field but feel stretched by the demands of running the business itself.
Founded by Louise Edwards, the business specialises in operations, business development and administration support, offering flexible senior-level expertise to small and medium-sized businesses without the overhead of a full-time hire.
Louise brings more than twenty years´ experience building and running businesses. She has launched and managed several companies, including Innov8 Disposal, and through her work at Original Joinery developed a close working relationship that led to co-founding Orange Lettings, a property lettings business built from the ground up. Louise is also an active advocate for integrating AI into business operations, using it across her own work and within the companies she supports to improve efficiency, decision making and capacity.
Today, NE Support works with businesses typically turning over between £50k and £2m, across a diverse range of sectors including hospitality, property and serviced accommodation, health and wellbeing practitioners, and creative professionals. Louise is also actively looking to grow her client base within the fitness and wellness industry, an area she is both personally invested in and professionally passionate about.
Louise joined Tees Valley Business Club to become part of a trusted network of like-minded business owners and professionals. She said: "The biggest benefit, in my view, is the support network. Having access to respected peers I can learn from, share experience with and trust is invaluable, both for my own business and for the founders I work with. Surrounding yourself with established, like-minded business owners is one of the best investments any founder can make and TVBC offers exactly that."
NE Support is continuing to grow its client base across the North East and wider UK, with a particular focus on supporting founder-led businesses that need senior-level operational and business development expertise, without the cost of a full-time hire.
Outside of work, Louise also competes in the Women´s Pro division at Hyrox, bringing the same discipline and energy to both business and sport.
