Northern Calling - Off to the Fair
September 14th 2012
The Heritage Gallery at Cargo Fleet requests the pleasure of your company at the Private Viewing of Linda Taylor´s exhibition, Northern Calling - Off to the Fair! on Friday 14th September, between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.
Linda´s chance encounter with families gathering to support Yarm Fair in October 2010, led to an ongoing photographic project that is reflected in her first solo exhibition here at The Heritage Gallery. The collection of images is a celebration of the rich tapestry of a traditional culture.
Beyond the importance of documenting local history, Linda has tried to capture the passion of the people through her portraits and expressive studies, which can be viewed at the Cargo Fleet Offices from 14/9/2012 until 19/10/2012.
Please feel free to pass this invite on to anyone feel may be interested. Refreshments will be served from 6.00pm, hope to see you there.
