Oil & Gas in Ghana: New Opportunities Market Briefing
Tuesday 6th August
11.45am – 2.15pm
SAFC Stadium of Light, Sunderland, North East England
The oil production from the offshore Jubilee field in Ghana has steadily increased since the beginning of 2013. Jubilee production is forecast to rise to more than 120,000 boepd.
The Ghanaian Government formally approved the Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) fields' development plan in May 2013, paving the way for Tullow and its partners to develop three new discoveries and define the final development schedule. This has sparked renewed interest in the industry. With the new discoveries, oil production in Ghana is expected to rise to more than 200,000 boepd by 2016.
Our speakers will explain the latest evolutions and opportunities in the local industry while helping you make informed decisions about entering the Ghanaian market. Updates will be provided on:
• Latest field developments
• Current foreign investment regime
• Incorporation requirements and timeframe
• Local content regulations and status
• Taxation and accounting issues
• Labour relations
• Experience of a UK company in setting up in Ghana
