Paralloy Acquires Manoir

Manoir Industries, a global leader in special steels, has been acquired by the Paralloy Group, enabling it to continue its development in strategic sectors of the petrochemical, nuclear, and defence industries.

 

As of 20th June 2024 – Manoir Industries, has been acquired by the Paralloy Group. The acquisition was facilitated by the State (Direction Interministérielle aux Restructurations d’Entreprise), the Normandy Region, and the EDF group, and received approval from the Paris Commercial Court.

 

Manoir Industries, with an annual turnover of €86 million and nearly 500 employees, is internationally recognised for its expertise in special steels. The company operates production sites in Pitres near Rouen (440 employees) and Burton, England (60 employees).

Manoir Industries specialises in metal transformation and the production of complex parts for various industries, including nuclear and defence. Manoir Pitres has provided critical components for all 900 MW and 1300 MW nuclear power plants in France and internationally and manufactures parts for 3rd generation nuclear reactors (EPR). This activity is expected to grow significantly due to the renewal of the nuclear fleet. Additionally, the company supplies the muzzle for the Caesar cannon used by the French Defence.
