Tees Valley Business Club at Acklam Hall

Middlesbrough's newest venue, Acklam Hall, welcomed 100 guests last night at Tees Valley Business Club's second event of 2016.

Acklam Hall Ltd's managing director, Neil Whittingham, joined Chair, Jane Reynolds, on the stage to talk through what inspired him to take on the challenge of refurbishing Middlesbrough's only Grade 1 listed building, the Hall's history and Neil's plans for the Hall and its estate for the future, which will include a medical village incorporating a dentist, pharmacy and doctors surgery.

The event, which was partnered by the FSB, also incorporated talks from David Shields, area director of Welcome to Yorkshire, about the forthcoming Tour de Yorkshire and the opportunities which it will bring for businesses and the community and Jessica Williams represented Middlesbrough Borough Council and spoke a little about the sponsorship packages available for businesses to get involved with.
