Tees Valley Schools

Building on a very successful 'Sing at the Sage' evening 2 years ago, Tees Valley Education are this year taking over the Royal Festival Hall for a one off concert on 11th June. 15 schools, about 400 children and a huge dose of aspiration, self esteem and confidence building. What is not to like? Well to make it even more special, many of the songs have been specially written and focus on Tees Valley themes, the musical direction is by Adam Dennis, formerly from the Tees Valley and now spending his days as a professor at the Royal Academy of Music and his evenings working in hit musicals or in recording studios with many of today's biggest stars. The music for the event will be provided by a live band, the Strictly Come Dancing Band in fact. We have just had confirmation that Alistair Griffin is also performing which will be a great addition to the programme.
Now we know that most of you reading this won't be able to attend but what we do need is a great audience to make this a memorable experience for the children. So you can help in a very simple way. Do you have contacts, offices, friends in London who might like to go to the show? You could pass on this:

Many of these children have barely left their home town...few have been to London and how many of us can say we have played the Royal Festival Hall? Let's make this experience as memorable as possible.
