The Prince´s Trust employability programme opportunity

The Prince’s Trust has secured funding from The Caterpillar Foundation to deliver two employability programmes within the Tees Valley during July/August/September 2021 in the following sectors:

- Manufacturing
- Engineering
- Digital skills
- Sustainable technology
- Construction
- Woodlands
- Automotive

As such they are looking for employers or training providers with live vacancies (entry level or apprenticeship) within these industries.

Benefits to the Employer/Training provider:
- Support young people across the region into work.
- The Prince’s Trust will support the young people we put forward to be interview ready, work ready and excited about your sector.
- Successful candidates will receive a Prince’s Trust mentor for 6 months to support them in their new role.
- You choose whether you interview Prince’s Trust young people directly into the role or as a pre-interview into your own internal interview process.
- The Prince’s Trust will provide all the employability support the young people need as well as ongoing support.
- Reduce recruitments costs.
- There is no cost to you for taking part in this programme.

Requirements of the Employer/Training provider:
- Live vacancies (entry level/apprenticeships). Regardless of whether you have 1 or 20 live vacancies, you’re welcome to take part in this programme.
- A willingness to dedicate a couple of hours to speak to young people about your organisation, opportunities and vacancies and to interview them for your live vacancies.
- A willingness to support young people into your business and progress them in their early career with support from The Prince’s Trust.
