Named after the Sinhala word for “seashell,” Sippi reflects a deep connection to both the sea and Sri Lankan heritage where our pieces are thoughtfully handcrafted by marginalised artisans.

The ocean influences every stage of our jewellery-making process. From organically shaped forms inspired by shells, coral, waves, and tidal patterns, to the use of natural and responsibly sourced materials such as sea glass, freshwater pearls. We carefully select recycled and responsibly sourced materials for both their environmental and social impact, valuing the natural character, texture, and irregularities that make each piece entirely unique.

Handmade in small batches by skilled artisans, every design celebrates traditional craftsmanship pass down through generations while supporting fair wages, artisan visibility, and the preservation of generational skills.
